Styromatic is a family-owned business that was founded by Bjarne Madsen in 1976, Asmus Hamborg-Petersen took over the business completely from Bjarne in 2005.
We are headquartered in Denmark and today also have locations in Thailand and Germany. We have approximately 250 employees.
Most of our customers are from Scandinavia and Germany but we have also worked with clients from China, Great Britain, Thailand, and the United States – and many of our solutions are used globally.

At Styromatic, we take steps to conduct our business by the book, protect our employees and end users, and contribute to positive development in society. A couple of examples of our efforts:
- Our Denmark and Thailand locations are ISO 9001 (product quality) and ISO 14001 (environmental management) certified.
- We are audited by DNV, UL, CSA, and Intertek.
- We work in compliance with the RoHS directive and the REACH regulation (Registration, Evaluation and Authorisation of Chemicals) in the EU.
- We continuously work to ensure that we do not use conflict minerals (minerals from suppliers that may finance armed groups, condone human rights abuses, and be involved in corruption or money laundering) in our processes.
